The best Xbox controller for your money. : Razer Onza Professional Gaming Controller
After owning the Razer Onza for about three months, it's hard to want to go back to the original controllers. Everything feels a little bit bigger in my hands and it generally feels more ergonomic than Microsoft's. I would agree with other reviewers, however, that the controller feels more cheaply made. It's lighter and everything has a plastic-y clicking noise. It just doesn't feel nearly as sturdy.
This apparently belies a larger problem: The controllers are simply poorly made. It seems that I am not the first to have a razer controller fail. In my case, the left thumbstick was not registering a forward action and the right thumbstick would randomly move down. I tested this on multiple games on my PC and Xbox, only to find that the problem is with the controller alone.
The worst part of this is that it doesn't seem to come from wear. I just picked up my controller this evening, after setting it aside for over a week (working perfectly at the time) to find that both controls had failed seemingly at random. I, nor anyone else has touched it in over a week and it hasn't slid off anything or been bumped around. It hasn't even really had a stiff breeze aimed at it and it simply no longer works. I like razer's products in general, but the poor quality of this controller and the Charcarias headset is definitely going to keep me away from their products. Please Check Update Here!!
